Hi! I’m Kalyani, a writer who believes stories have the power to illuminate and linger long after the page. Whether through novels, simple reflections, or poetry, I write with an eye toward the deeper questions that shape our lives.

My novel, The Invisible Canvas, explores cultural identity, the stories we carry across generations, and the strength it takes to find one’s voice. I’m also the author of The Happy Wildflower series—collections of reflective essays and poetry on mindfulness, resilience, and the beauty of living with intention.

Before turning to fiction, I worked as an epidemiologist and an attorney—paths that deepened my curiosity about the human experience. Throughout it all, writing remained my anchor. It is the place where I reflect, ask difficult questions, and uncover the beauty of the inner voice.

With The Invisible Canvas, I wanted to create more than a story—one that reflects the quieter, often unspoken layers of identity, memory, and the long path toward healing.

Books have been my most treasured and trusted companions for as long as I can remember. I invite you to join me in a shared love for storytelling and discovering the endless possibilities within the pages of a book. Thank you for being part of this vibrant community of readers.
