Before the Next Chapter Begins

Before the Next Chapter | 7.9.26

Dear Friends,

As the excitement of publication settles into quieter reflection, I’ve found myself marveling at what an extraordinary few months this has been for me.

One of the moments that stayed with me most happened while traveling this summer. Walking through airport bookstores and seeing The Invisible Canvas on the shelves was one of those surreal experiences that made me pause and take it all in. After spending years writing this story, seeing it begin its own journey into readers’ hands has been both humbling and deeply rewarding.

Since The Invisible Canvas was released, I’ve had the privilege of sharing its story through interviews and guest articles with publications including Writer’s Digest, Women Writers Women’s Books, and Lone Star Literary Life, among others. Each conversation gave me the opportunity to further explore the themes of identity, family, resilience, and healing.

I’ve gathered all of these articles, interviews, and other resources together on my website, so if you’d like to explore them, everything is now in one place.

Most of all, though, I’m grateful to all of you.

Whether you’ve purchased the book, attended an event, shared a kind message, recommended it to a friend, or simply followed along throughout this journey, your encouragement has meant more than I can express.

If you’ve had a chance to read The Invisible Canvas and it resonated with you, I hope you’ll consider one small favor. Would you consider leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads?

For a debut novel, reader reviews make an enormous difference. They help other readers discover the book and allow stories like Jansi’s to reach people who may be searching for them. Even a few sentences can have a meaningful impact.

If the novel stayed with you, I’d be deeply grateful if you shared your thoughts.

Thank you for being a part of my writing life. I couldn’t have imagined a kinder community to begin this journey alongside. 🤍

With gratitude,

Kalyani
