Letting Go
I free myself from chains unseen,
From the weight that used to hold me prisoner.
Like autumn leaves falling from the tree,
I let go of what no longer serves me.
I’ve spent too long looking in the rearview’s haze,
Forgotten the path ahead, lost in yesterdays.
But now, I turn to face the winding road unknown,
With renewed courage, my spirit has grown.
Time helps me leave behind old sorrows and pain,
As lessons learned become my guide.
Wisdom supports me like solid ground,
From which, strength to face any challenge can be found.
For this moment beckons change,
A dance with the flow, a release, a letting go.
I step forward with purpose and grace,
Embracing the journey, finding my place.
