A Cackle or Two
There’s an undeniable excitement in the air,
’Tis the season of thrills and chills.
Grab your cloak of courage, venture out if you dare—
Live a short while, join me for a spooktacular scare!
Watch out for werewolves on the prowl.
No, not the muscly Twilight kind—
These ones are foul, with grooming so poor,
You might mistake them for the teens next door!
Be wary of vampires hiding in their lair—
They’re no Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt, just sneaky and slick.
If they flash a seductive smile and ask for red wine,
Offer them ketchup, and pray you’ll be fine!
You may hear a cackle or two—
Those are just tipsy witches stirring their brew.
Not The Real Wives in your hood,
Just the spirited cat ladies, up to no good!
Don’t let the spirits scare you silly.
They could just be passing through.
Surely ghosts miss their families, too?
Or maybe it’s Beetlejuice up to his old tricks—
Throwing mischief and mayhem into the mix!
Finally, beware of sugary treats.
Never throw caution to the wind for the sake of sweets!
First, a cavity may take you unawares,
Then, your dentist will appear—with his scary drill and horrifying bill—
And thus begins the real nightmare!
