My Happy Place

My happy place is in my child’s face.
In the soft, smooth curve of his cheek,
In the warm depths of his gorgeous brown eyes,
In the sweet swell of his little button nose,
And, above all, in the bloom of his angelic smile.
I cannot conceive of a greater joy,
Beyond being the mother of this darling boy.
