Winter Magic
Behold, the season’s finally here,
With joyful magic and festive cheer.
Bells chime, snowflakes gently fall,
Fireplaces glow with warmth for all.
Pine forests scent the crisp, cool air,
While shoppers rush with gifts to share.
Children squeal with peppermint sticks,
Eagerly awaiting their turn with St. Nick.
Carolers sing in a joyful sound,
Laughter and merriment all around.
Kitchens come alive with cookie-making,
As homes fill with the enticing scent of holiday baking.
Hot cocoa and eggnog flowing free,
Couples share a mistletoe spree.
Fir trees sparkle with lights so bright,
Ornaments twinkling through the night.
But beyond the festive sights and sounds,
The true meaning of the season is found.
As Grinch and Scrooge came to see,
It’s in generosity, love, and unity.
Through kindness and compassion, hearts begin to heal,
A magic that makes the spirit real.
So, let’s embrace this joy and cheer,
Not just in December but throughout the year.
Extend these feelings, day by day,
By loving one another in every way.
In this spirit, perhaps we can mend,
And make our world a place to commend.
