A Legacy of Love

In our lives, there are few souls as steadfast and true,
As the exceptional mother, wife, and grandmother we knew.
Beloved by many, both near and far,
A legend in her own right, an unassuming star.

She walked with faith, in traditions old,
Her spirit unyielding, a force to behold.
With every scold, wisdom to impart,
A mother’s love, a guiding heart.

For eighty-one years, her presence sustained,
In joy and sorrow, she never waned.
A matriarch, strong, in her beliefs devout,
Her love, an invincible fortress, beyond any doubt.

Her grandchildren, spoiled by her loving hand,
In her soft embrace, they found a promised land.
Indulgent and kind, in her every deed,
A grandmother’s love, a sacred creed.

Beneath the sharp edges, a heart of gold,
Sprouting seeds of faith and love untold.
For planting a garden was her divine purpose,
As a messenger of harmony and unity, her service.

A pillar of the community, the foundation of our family,
She nourished all who crossed her threshold happily.
Generous and compassionate to those in need,
To the cynics and naysayers, she paid little heed.

Now that her journey has drawn to its end,
The celestial gates wait for her soul to ascend.
And to each of us, she leaves an enduring gift,
Her everlasting love to strengthen and uplift.
